Sean Nyssen, is Builtcom’s Construction Director and leads the team with expertise, experience and excellence. Sean comes to Builtcom with a wealth of experience across the gamut of construction delivery within the industry. Over his career, he has built and mentored teams in projects from $1m to $250m in varying construction disciplines and been involved in developments valued over $500m. By last count, he has been involved in the construction of over 8,000+ apartments. Over his illustrious career, Sean has held positions such as Construction Manager, Project Director, Operations Manager, General Manager, Team Leader, Project Manager, Design Manager, Contracts Administrator, Project Coordinator and Cadet – truly coming up the ranks at some of Australia’s largest and most prominent builders.
As lead for Builtcom, Sean has complete ownership of Builtcom results and performance and the daily operations to ensure everyone in Builtcom is performing at their optimal levels and lead by example in all facets.Sean leads all aspects of Builtcom, is accountable and is managing:
- Preconstruction, Project Delivery - driving programmes, budgets, design, quality, safety, and overall delivery
- Commercial and financial management and control - cost management, contract management and risk mitigation
- Operational integration - aligning seamlessly with Conquest Development and CQ Studios for effective vertical integration and synergies
- Builtcom Care - our post completion division
With over 30 years in the building industry, including 15 years at Builtcom, Ray Sassine is a seasoned leader who believes exceptional construction is a team effort. Guiding a talented group of 25 professionals, Ray fosters collaboration to deliver innovative, high-quality projects.
His commitment to teamwork and excellence ensures Builtcom continues to set benchmarks in the industry, creating structures that inspire and endure.
With over 7 years at Builtcom, Joseph has rapidly progressed through the ranks, developing a strong foundation in site management and contract administration. Known for his drive, ambition, and uncompromising standards, he has earned recognition both in the office and on-site.
A high-performing professional with a results-focused mindset, he consistently pushes boundaries to deliver exceptional outcomes. His growth reflects a clear vision for leadership and a relentless commitment to shaping the future of the company.
Jeremy is Builtcom’s Operations Manager, responsible for overseeing the Project Delivery branch within the Construction division. His role focuses on ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, consistently and in line with Builtcom’s operational and reporting requirements.
Jeremy leads and supports the Project Delivery team, with a strong focus on performance, structure and upskilling. He manages monthly PCG requirements, oversees construction reporting calendars, and plays a key role in coordinating construction payment processes through monthly AP meetings. Known for his organised, hands-on approach, Jeremy helps keep delivery teams aligned, accountable and operating smoothly across the portfolio.
Ramzi is Builtcom’s Quality Assurance Technical Director, providing direct oversight across design, quality and compliance. His role focuses on strengthening how these pillars are monitored, controlled and delivered across the Builtcom business and project portfolio.
Working closely with design managers and project engineers, Ramzi leads the design management process, overseeing design progress, audits, inspections and compliance reporting to ensure outcomes meet Builtcom’s standards and relevant authority requirements, including the DBP Act. He is known for driving a shift from reactive problem-solving to a more structured, operational approach to quality. A construction design professional with deep technical knowledge and a strong eye for detail, Ramzi brings extensive local and international experience, including senior roles at Decode and on major projects across Qatar and the United Arab Emirates. Ramzi holds a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering, Diploma of Building & Construction, LEED Accredited, Green Star Accredited Professional-GSAP, and a member of the Australian Institute of Buildings-MAIB.
